The Hatfield Motor Group was founded in South Africa in 1998. Since then, it has expanded to 45 sites across the country representing a range of brands. Hatfield Motor Group's Story
Challenge
Since its foundation, Hatfield’s operations have grown through acquisitions. This created challenges, with sites under the Hatfield umbrella using different systems. Alongside the need to increase efficiencies across the group, the business also faced issues around reporting, exporting data, and OEM integrations.
Solution
Hatfield worked with Keyloop and identified the need to migrate all sites onto a single environment and platform. The business introduced Keyloop Drive DMS to help increase efficiencies and back-office processes across the group and streamline operations. The migration also meant Hatfield could offer and enhanced experience for every customer walking through the door.
Impact
The introduction of Keyloop Drive DMS means all data and information for the entire group is centralised and easily accessible. The business has experienced a big improvement in reporting and now benefit from a clear view of its day-to-day operations.
From an aftersales perspective, the integration Drive DMS enables between the workshop and OEM is far more streamlined now and the process of invoicing out a vehicle and linking everything in the system is much easier than before. The accounts team is also benefiting from the introduction of Drive DMS, with efficiency gains when it comes to transactions and documentation processing.
Looking ahead, Hatfield is confident that as it continues to grow through acquisitions, adding additional brands or business operations will be a seamless process thanks to the single platform structure of Keyloop Drive DMS.
What I would recommend about Keyloop is the robustness of the Drive DMS and the fact that there's a lot of capabilities that you can do within it that I don't think a lot of DMSs can do.
