MHD Automobiles operates in Oman and is part of Mohsin Haider Darwish LLC, one of the largest and most successful privately owned businesses in the Gulf region. Stephen Lay is the Director of MHD Automobiles - which represents the Jeep, Dodge, Stellantis, Ram, and Ineos brands - and he played a key role in the recent introduction of Keyloop’s solutions with the aim of shifting to an Experience-First way of operating.
For me, one of the key things with Keyloop is having the Drive system based in the cloud so that we’ve got stored data and servers. This will allow us to get access a lot more customer data as we move forward, and being able to take new products on board allows us to have a far more joined up customer journey.

Challenge
Before working with Keyloop, MHD Automobiles was using a finance-based system that wasn’t providing a holistic view of the customer with limited data available. Stephen and the team identified the need to introduce a DMS that would help drive efficiencies and improve processes across the business and allow them to ensure the entire customer journey was channelled through one single platform.
Solution
The business decided to implement Keyloop Drive DMS, before introducing Keyloop’s digital document management solutions, Sales Docs and Service Docs. Stephen realised that Drive DMS would provide the business with a full 360 view of its customers, and the fact the DMS was cloud-based meant MHD Automobiles would have access to far more customer data than it previously had.
Sales Docs and Service Docs were identified as the solutions that would help the business minimise the sheer volume of paper the sales and service departments were using on a daily basis, as well driving time and cost savings.
Impact
Stephen and the team have experienced improvements across the business since introducing Keyloop DMS and the Docs solutions. The customer journey now benefits from enhanced system connectivity, and, thanks to the data-capturing capacities of Drive DMS, MHD Automobiles now has much greater visibility over areas of high performance and areas in need of additional attention.
From an aftersales perspective, Keyloop’s solutions are helping across the department, with the ability to access detailed reporting and monitor technician activity and productivity all in one single system.
In both the aftersales and sales departments, the implementation of Keyloop Docs has enabled the business to save time, money, and provide an enhanced digital customer experience.
Looking ahead, MHD Automobiles’ aim is to be at the forefront of customer engagement and digital transformation. By shifting to an Experience-First way of operating with the help of Keyloop, the business will continue to offer a seamless customer journey and drive success in the region.
